Connemara Surf Experience

Our Connemara Surf Special is an action and adventure packed day with some amazing scenery and best of all a surf lesson at one of Mayo’s most beautiful and unspoilt beaches.  Our tour runs on Saturdays from May to September.

Our tour guide T.J. is a native of Louisburgh, Co. Mayo and has a passion for the outdoors, farming and above all surfing and teaching this addictive sport to others.

Tour info:

• Come take in the beautiful scenery of Connemara and learn to surf in the Atlantic Ocean, in one adventure-packed Saturday.
• Our surf instructors are all I.S.A. (Irish Surf Instructor) approved and will have you surfing in no time.
• Highlights – morning coffee in Leenane, Ashleigh Falls, Killary Fjord, Croagh Patrick hike, Westport (the Adventure capital of the west).
• Enjoy a coffee/tea in our Surf Centre and compare surfing stories with your friends.

Cost:

• €50 per person.
• Max of 14 people per tour
• Minimum group size of 8 before tour will run.

Pick-up:

Every Saturday from May to September at Galway Coach Station at 8am.

Pre-booking essential

Drop-off:

Arrive back at Galway Coach Station at 6pm approx.

What to bring:

Comfortable walking shoes/boots.

Towel and swimsuit.

Sense of adventure!

What’s included:

All transport.

Local Irish tour guide.

I.S.A. approved surf lesson.

All equipment (boards, wetsuits, booties).
