About us

West Coast Adventure Tours and Surf School was started in May 2009 by T.J. and Olivia Kitterick.  Both TJ and Olivia are passionate about the outdoors.  T.J., a native of Louisburgh, Co.Mayo has over 20 years surfing experience and has been teaching groups to surf for many years.  All our staff are fully trained I.S.A. (Irish Surf Association) Beach Lifeguard Qualified Instructors.  Olivia, originally from Sligo, has a background in health and safety and quality assurance and helps out with bookings and administration.  Between them they have over 10 years experience working in kids and teen sports and creative arts camps.  TJ has been Sports Coordinator for a major Galway City Kids Camp for the past 8 years.  As parents we understand that safety is of utmost importance and also that summer is for fun, making new friends and learning new skills.
