Welcome to West Coast Adventures and Surf School.  We offer sightseeing and adventure activity day tours from Galway City and Surfing classes from Westport. Our activities are packed with energy, excitement and most of all great adventure in beautiful Galway and Mayo.  So if if you are looking for exciting things to do while on holiday in Westport or Galway, look no further!

We keep our surfing tours small (max 14 people) to ensure a friendly, welcoming experience.  Our tours are great value for money, with the cost including;

• Amazing scenery of the west coast of Ireland,

• Hot male and female changing rooms and showers in our Surf Centre.

Our Surf lessons run morning and afternoon all July and August from Westport and at weekends for March, April, May, June and September.  All our instructors are I.S.A. (Irish Surf Association) approved and Garda vetted.  Our surfing lessons are ideal for individuals, families and groups (including hens and stag parties). We have hot male and female showers available.  Enjoy a warm cuppa and a snack (on us) and compare notes with the other surfers after your lesson at Killeen Surf Centre.

All lessons are run on the unspoilt Cross Beach (near Louisburgh), Co. Mayo surrounded by the majestic vista of Mweelrea, Croagh Patrick, Clare Island and Inisboffin.  Beaches don’t get much more beautiful than this.  Our Surf Bus provides pick-ups and drop-offs every morning and afternoon to and from Westport town.  Whether you are a local or holidaying in the west, we have something to suit you!

Our Connemara Surf Experience Tour runs from Galway at weekends during the summer and it takes in all the best parts of Connemara; Leenane, Ashleigh Falls, Doolough Valley as well as a surf lesson and then back to Galway that evening.
